Photograph of a stipple engraving of Philip Miller (1691-1771), superintendant of the Physic Garden at the society of apothecaries, showing head and torso in profile, in oval with decorative border and lettering in French underneath. This reproduction was taken from a unidentified French translation of Miller's 'Gardener's Dictionary', 1785.
