Description

Galton was a founder member of FAB, an international group of seven French, American and British haematologists interested in the classification and diagnosis of leukaemia, including haematological differences between types of leukaemia.

The group met regularly to review cases, discuss diagnoses, and prepare guidelines, and published 12 papers on the classification of blood cancers between 1976 and 1990.

Includes correspondence; minutes and meeting notes; offprints and reports.
