Six apprenticeship indetures and certificates for John Dixon (1832-1930). Comprised of the following:

  • MS.5191/1: Dixon, John (1832-1930), 1 November 1848. Indenture apprenticing John Dixon, of Hemsworth, Yorks., to William Wood Wiseman, surgeon and apothecary, of Ossett, near Wakefield, Yorks. Dixon was to serve for five years, learning the profession of a surgeon accoucheur and apothecary.
