Description
Photograph of a fragment of marble bas relief showing Eileithyia, goddess of childbirth, holding a torch alongside a mother on a couch and a child being held by another woman. The relief was acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum at an unknown point and accessioned in 1936 (accession number R4516/1936). It is not held by Wellcome Collection.
