Description

Photograph of four stethoscopes in the shape of a syringe designed by Laennec. They were acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum and accessioned in 1940 and 1936, accession numbers (from left to right) R169/1940, R2297/1936, R2268/1936 and R2325/1936. They are now held by the Science Museum (object numbers A608188, A608182, A608179 and A600076).
