Photograph of two anatomical figures in ivory, open to show the foetus. The one on the left is undated. It was purchased by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1928 and accessioned in 1936 (accession numbers R2345/1936). The other is 18th century. It was purchased by the Museum in Paris and accessioned in 1936 (accession number R2341/1936). They are not held by Wellcome Collection. Related images: M0018653EA
