Several people are standing in conversation whilst some actors attend to a man in drag who has fainted to the left of the scene. The lettering on the card suggests that this is a production of the play "La dame aux Camélias" based on the 1848 novel by Alexandre Dumas, at Senne Civil internment camp during World War I. The character fainting is presumably Marguérite who collapses
