Description

Photograph of three x-ray tubes with slightly curved cathodes, c.1897, originally part of the Tabor Collection. They were purchased at auction by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1928 and accessioned in 1956 (accession number R161/1956 (left), R159/1956 (middle) and R160/1956 (right)). They are not held by Wellcome Collection.
