Description

Includes Pontecorvo's list of pros and cons relating to the move to Leiden and questions about the post. It seems that he was seriously considering going there but in the end he turned down the post he didn't want to break "the continuity of the research work and the disruption of my research team" back in Glasgow.

Biographical note

Dr K Wiersma was the Secretary of the Board of Curators at the University and became the State Secretary for Justice from 1970-1976. He was also a Professor of Law.
