Description
Photograh of statues of two Ancient Egyptian deities. The statue of Amen Re is made of bronze on a marble base. It was purchased at auction in 1919 by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum and accessioned in 1945 (accession number R73/1945). The statue of Isis is made of wood and was purchased at auction in 1934 by the Museum and accessioned in 1959 (accession number R144/1959). Neither statue is held by Wellcome Collection.
