Description

Photograph of a female anatomical wax model or manikin photographed from the side in complete form to show the first moveable part. The M Series register suggests the model is 18th century and French, and is possibly attributed to Clemente Susini (previously attributed to Anna Morandi Manzolini). The model was accessioned by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum on 7th December 1951 (R205/1951) and is now held by the Science Museum (A627043).
