Vaccinator's Register

Jan 1947-Mar 1948. This register, produced in the format prescribed by the Ministry of Health and purchased in Sep 1946, relates to vaccinations performed in Alconbury District, Huntingdon, by Dr Garrood. Included in the volume is a form relating to children within the district not vaccinated according to the terms of the Vaccination Acts. Most of the book is blank: the termination in early 1948 was presumably due to introduction of the National Health Service and the supersession of many existing arrangements.
