Biographical note
This hospital was run by St Mary's Hospital. There was a debate in the House of Lords, 28 Jan 1959, about a proposal by the Board to convert beds from children's to maternity use. Opponents quoted the Royal College of Physicians Paediatric Committee report, 1957, in support of children's hospitals.
