Description

Photograph of two lute-type musical instruments with long necks from India. They were purchased by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum at auction, one in 1920 and one in 1922 and given accession numbers A8944 and A15042 respectively. They were transferred to the Fowler Musuem, University of California, Los Angeles in 1966. Related images: M0018295
