Description

Two images on one negative. One is a photograph by Elliot and Fry, 1950, of Sir William Wilson Jameson (1885-1962) Scottish physician and Chief Medical Officer of England (1940-1950). The photograph was made from a copy held by Jameson. The other is a drawing by John Augustus, 1955, of Sir Henry Hallett Dale (1875-1968) English pharmacologist and physiologist. It was commissioned and held by Dr F. H. K. Green, Secretary to the Wellcome Trustees.
