Description

Photograph of two items. One is an amuletic wristlet said to avert rheumatism and bring good luck. It was purchased at auction by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1933 and accessioned in 1936 (accession number R10042/1936). The other item is a cupping horn with a lateral hole close to the tip. It was acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1961 and given accession number A301178. It is now held by the Science Museum (object number A301178)
