Description

Photograph of a letter dated 10 March 1882 announcing Lister's election as an Honorary Member of the Reale Accademia di Medicina di Torino. It is one of a number of photographs accumulated by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum as part of its exhibition held in 1927 to celebrate the centenary of Lister, in conjunction with The Royal Society, The British Universities Hospitals and Medical and Surgical Colleges.
