Description

Portrait of Thomas Strangeways Pigg Strangeways (1866-1926) British pathologist taken in 1935. According to Dr. R. Gordon Spier of the Strangeways Research Laboratory, Cambridge, the portrait was a professional enlargement from a snapshot in the family collection taken of Strangeways talking to Professor Chambers, New York, in the former's garden at Cambridge. The snapshot was lent to the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum by Dr. Honor B. Dell of the Laboratory.
