A devil and an angel with objects representing vices and virtues

Previous title, replaced January 2025: Top left, a man with a beard, represented as the Devil, with a bottle and glasses of whiskey on a table; bottom right, an angel praying with pills from a bottle of antibiotic on a table. Gouache by Muriel Lewis, 1967

The devil has a table with a bottle and glasses of whisky and an ashtray and cigarette in front of him. The angel has a table showing a bottle and glass of milk and a bottle of 'Flagyl' medication, an antibiotic. Inscribed in pencil by the creator on the front. Creator's name and date of creation are inscribed on the reverse, probably by Edward Adamson.
