Project Summary:Anatomy of Movement -(working title) Building on the success of the Performing Medicine project to date, The Clod Ensemble now want to undertake an 18 month period of work concentrating on themes of anatomy, movement and physiology. The project has three interweaving strands that bring together the 'applied' and performance areas of the Clod Ensemble's practice: [1) Development of new courses investigating anatomy and physiology through the arts (for medical students) [2) The creation of a new dance/performance piece by The Clod Ensemble [3) A season of conversations, workshops and performances ('Art Injections') around the themes of movement, anatomy and physiology.
