About this work
Description
Formal notification from The Patent Office, Trade Marks Registry, 25 Southampton Buildings, Chancery Lane, London WC2.
With reference to Tercinin's efficacy in horticulture, see the memorandum (5 May, 1944) from George H Frazer to Dr Frank Hartley: "I understand that it has been found that Patulin [Tercinin] completely prevents the 'damping-off' disease of seedlings and that it is now thought that the most important field of use for 'Tercinin' Brand Patulin may be in this connection rather than in connection with the treatment of cold in the head or other medicinal use." Frazer notes that all trade mark registrations for Tercinin are in Class 5 (for medicinal products) rather than Class 1 (agriculture, horticulture, forestry), and recommends additional registration under Class 1.
