Description

Photograph of four short form or third type Laennec stethoscopes. They were acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum and accessioned in 1955 and 1936, accession numbers (from left to right) R72/1955, R2301/1936, R2299/1936 and R2298/1936. They are not held by Wellcome Collection. Three are held by the Science Museum (object numbers A608190, A608187 and A608183).
