Photograph of spears, other weapons and shields, originally belonging to the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum, laid out in the Duveen Gallery at the British Museum for selection by various third party museums in 1955. The objects laid out illustrate only a small section of the weaponry collected by the Museum for the Ethnographic Collection. The photograph was reproduced in Symons, John : Wellcome Institute for the History of Medicine: A Short History, London : The Wellcome Trust, 1993
