Description

Photograph of two complete anatomical figures in ivory. The one on the left is German and from the 17th century. It was purchased by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1930 and accessioned in 1936 (accession number R2351/1936). The other is 17th century and was acquired by the Museum at an unknown point and accessioned in 1936 (accession number R2349/1936). They are not held by Wellcome Collection.
