Photograph of a glass containing unputrified blood mixed with some water which has been boiled and cooled in a flask, under protection of a cotton cap, with draft caption to the left, likely as to be displayed in the Lister section of the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum. The glass was previously part of the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum but is not held by Wellcome Collection.
