Description
Photograph of an English delftware posset pot, c.1730. Polychrome with imitation Chinese design. This has been attributed to Niglett, Bristol, c.1730, but is more probably Lambeth c.1690. The item was purchased by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1916 and accessioned in 1916 (accession number R9084). It is not held by Wellcome Collection.
