vellum; Material: vellum; Scroll composed of 3 strips The scroll would have been designed to be equal in length to the height of the person the scroll was composed for, in order that the entirety of the person was protected against demons and the return of evil spirits (Mercier); dimensions: diameter 165 mm, length 1945 mm

(1934-08-38): Purchased at auction by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum at Glendining's, 27-28 August 1934, lot 284. Accessioned in November 1934, accession number 79061.
