Left side of plate: Reproduction of a photograph of Samuel Barnett Schryver (1869-1929), Wellcome Chemical Research Laboratory Chemist 1897-1902, with typed caption underneath. Right side of plate: Reproduction of a photograph of George Barger (1878-1939), Wellcome Physiological Research Laboratory Chemist 1903-1909. The photographs were taken at at he ceremony of laying the foundation stone, Euston Road. These reproductions were made from unidentified photographs in the Wellcome Museum of Medical Science archive.
