Photograph of a display board from a Charles Scott Sherrington exhibition for the Symposium on the History and Philosophy of the Knowledge of the Brain, 15-17 July 1957. The board shows a letter from Sherrington to Cushing concerning the cerebral cortex of the Anthropoid Apes. Charles Scott Sherrington (1857-1952) was an English neurophysiologist, histologist, bacteriologist and pathologist.
