    PaRtiAMENTARY PETITION. SECOND PRESENTATION. This Petition was presented again to the Chancellor of the Exchequer (The Rt. Hon. Austen Chamberlain) on the 2oth April, 1920, after the War; but he also refused to forward it to the House of Commons—in his letter to Sir Ronald Ross of the 6th May, 1920. On this occasion the Petition was supported by eight Members of Parliament, and by the British Medical Association and the British Science Guild. The British Medical Association also forwarded a Resolution of its Representative Body in support of the Petition, and this Resolution was sent to the Chancellor of the Exchequer on the 21st November, 1919 ; but the Chancellor again refused to submit it to Parliament— (letter of the 18th May, 1920).
