"The 'Way In'"

Previous title, replaced January 2025: The "Way in" boutique at Harrods department store in London: women modelling clothes. Watercolour by Muriel Lewis, 1968.

Painting of women in various states of undress and different outfits in a fitting room. The "Way in" opened on the fourth floor of Harrods in Kensington in 1967, selling fashion aimed at a youth audience. Signed by the creator in pencil on the reverse. Creator's name and date of creation are inscribed on the reverse, probably by Edward Adamson.
