Description

Black and white reproduction of an open diary displaying entires from the 3rd and 4th January 1922, from the Quest Expedition to the Antarctic regions (also known as the Shackleton–Rowett Expedition 1921-1922). The diary entries were written by Sir Ernest Shackleton (1874-1922). The item was displayed in a polar exhibition held in the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum's central hall in July 1930 but is not held by Wellcome Collection.
