Description

Photograph of two pairs of spectacles with cases. The first is a pair of early 18th century copper rimmed glasses with a fishskin covered case. They were acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum at an unknown point and accessioned in 1919 (accession number R11529). The second is a pair of glasses with a leather frame and iron bridge with a leather case. They were acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum at an unknown point and accessioned in 1917 (accession numbers R5912 (glasses) and R5920 (case)). Neither pair are held by Wellcome Collection.
