  • MS.7935/1: certificate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt, in honour of Cantlie's services during the cholera epidemic, dated March 1885.
  • MS.7935/2: certificate of appointment as Surgeon-Commandant, Volunteer Forces, Medical Staff Corps, from 1 April 1885, dated March 1885.
  • MS.7935/3: certificate of Commission as Surgeon of the Hong Kong Volunteer Corps, conferred by the Governor of Hong Kong, with MS. covering letter from the Colonial Secretary, dated March 1888.
  • MS.7935/4: certificate of Commission as Surgeon-Captain of the Field Battery in the Hong Kong Volunteer Corps, conferred by the Governor of Hong Kong, with ts. covering letter signed by the Colonial Secretary, dated May- July 1893.
  • MS.7935/5: certificate of appointment as Honorary Surgeon in the St John Ambulance Brigade, conferred by the St John Ambulance Association and Ambulance Brigade, dated July 1896.
  • MS.7935/6: certificate of appointment as Surgeon-Lieutenant of the Volunteer Forces, (7th Middlesex (London Scottish) Volunteer Rifle Corps), from 2 December 1896 (after Cantlie's return from Hong Kong), dated December 1896.
  • MS.7935/7: certificate of appointment as District Chief Surgeon, St John Ambulance Brigade, dated 3 November.
  • MS.7935/8: Imperial Ottoman Order of Osmanieh (4th class), conferred on Cantlie by the Khedive of Egypt. Original award, in Turkish, dated 21 Nov 1908, with envelope; certificates of private permission from the King listing the occasions Cantlie can wear the Insignia of the Order, dated December 1908-November 1910 (reduced to occasions of the conferring country only in 1910).
  • MS.7935/9: certificate of appointment as Colonel in the Territorial Force, from 1 April 1908 (1st London Territorial Division, Royal Army Medical Corps), signed August 1910, dated January 1909 on the front.
