Description
Photograph of two Geissler tubes and a "penetrator" x-ray tube . The Geissler tubes were presented to the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1954 and accessioned in 1956 (accession numbers R145/1956 (right) and R144/1956 (middle)). The x-ray tube was purchased at auction by the Museum in 1928 and accessioned in 1956 (accession number R138/1956). None are held by Wellcome Collection.
