Right-hand side of plate: Reproduction of a photograph of Sir Henry Dale (1875-1968), English pharmacologist and physiologist, and Professor Otto Loewi outside the Grand Hotel, Stockholm as recipients of the Nobel Prize for the Physiology and Medicine, 1936. Another photograph of this image was accessioned by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum (PHO 13503). Left-hand side of plate: Reproduction of a photograph of Sir Henry Dale (1875-1968), English pharmacologist and physiologist, at his office desk when director of the National Institute for Medical Research, Hampstead, 1938. Another photograph of this image was accessioned by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum (PHO 13504).
