Description
Series consists of papers, correspondence, photographs and cassette tapes related to the seminar on "The Early History of Renal Transportation", which was held at the Wellcome Institute on 30 September 1994. The seminar was part of the Wellcome Witnesses to Twentieth Century Medicine meetings also known as the Witness Seminars. The participants at the seminar were; Sir Christopher Booth (Chairman), Professor Jean-Francois Bach (Inserm U25, Paris), Professor Leslie Brent (St Mary's Hospital), Professor Sir Roy Calne F.R.S. (Cambridge University), Mr John Hopewell F.R.C.S. (London), Professor Francis Moore (Harvard University), Professor Joseph Murray (Harvard University), Professor Dr J.J. van Rood (Leiden University), Professor David Slome (London), Professor Thomas Starzl (University of Pittsburgh), Professor Sir Michael Woodruff F.R.S. (University of Edinburgh).
