Wooden statue of St Francis of Assisi (c.1181-1226) Italian friar and preacher. Invoked against headaches and plauge. The item was acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum at an unknown point. It is not held by Wellcome Collection.

Wooden statue of St Cecilia, patron saint of music and musicians The item was purchased by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1931 and accessioned in 1938 (accession number R161/1938). It is not held by Wellcome Collection.

Wooden statue of St Jerome, also known as Jerome of Stridon (c.345-420). Invoked against diseases of the eye and weak sight. Represented beating himself with a stone, in reference to his excessive austerity. The item was acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum and accessioned in 1938 (accession number R613/1938). It is not held by Wellcome Collection.

Wooden statue of Saint Sebastian (c.256-288) tied to a tree. Invoked against plague and epidemics. The item was acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1934 and given accession number A135864. It is now held by the Science Museum (object number A135864).
