Photograph of the first page of a letter from the Society of the Friends of Science at Poznan announcing Lister's election as an Honorary Member. It is one of a number of photographs accumulated by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum as part of its exhibition held in 1927 to celebrate the centenary of Lister, in conjunction with The Royal Society, The British Universities Hospitals and Medical and Surgical Colleges.
