Four images on one negative. Two are of Sir D'Arcy Power (1855-1941) British surgeon sitting with Harvey Cushing (1869-1939) American neurosurgeon and pathologist. Two are of Sir Charles Scott Sherrington (1857-1952) English neurophysiologist sitting with Cushing and Lynn Thorndike (1882-1965) American historian. The images are from a Leica film taken by Professor Beattie at the Royal College of Surgeons in July 1938 during an International Congress. The film was lent to Sir Henry Dale, Chairman of the Wellcome Trustees.
