"Hail Mary"

Previous title, replaced January 2025: The Virgin Mary with blood running from her nose. Watercolour and gouache by David Thomas Meredith, 1975.

Painting of a face in right profile in shades of yellow, green and blue, crossed through with red lines. Inscription is painted by the creator on the front. Date of creation is inscribed on the reverse, probably by Edward Adamson.
