Description

Wooden statue of Saint Livertin, one of the six healing saints from Notre Dame du Haut, Moncontour, Brittany. Invoked against headache and plague. The item was purchased by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1934 and accessioned in 1937 (accession number R4777/1937). It is not held by Wellcome Collection.
