Description
Photograph of an artifical left arm comprising a metal sleeve covering the forearm with elbow joint and a metal hand with an immobile thumb and articulated fingers. It is similar in construction to that made for the Knight Goetz von Berlichingen. It was acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum as part of the Harmonic Collection in 1928 and accessioned in 1945 (accession number R13/1945). Related images: M0019963
