Photograph of a telegram from 1893 signed Duclaux, Chamberland, Metchnikoff and Roux, congratulating Joseph Lister on his election to the Academie des Sciences, Institute de France. It is one of a number of photographs accumulated by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum as part of its exhibition held in 1927 to celebrate the centenary of Lister, in conjunction with The Royal Society, The British Universities Hospitals and Medical and Surgical Colleges
