Armstrong was one of the most inter- esting events in the recent history of medical jurisprudence m this State. The formerly high social position of Mrs Armstrong, her husband’s fame as ex-Mayor of Boston' and ex-Governor of Massachusetts, in those elder davs when high office implied high honor; the amount of money involved; the amount alienated from its natural line of descent into the hands of her business adviser- and the array of eminent legal talent on both sides, made the case memorable from many points of view * The case was not a contest to set aside her will as no W.1I was ever executed, though the subject was often eonstdered and several drafts made.
