Description
Two images on one negative: the first is a photograph of a painting of an original relief depicting the Sumerian deity Adapa. The photograph was acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum and accessioned in 1935 (accession number PHO 3868). The second is a reproduction of a painting depicting an English king worshipping at the Shrine of Saint Edmund (Edmund the Martyr), published in Saint Edmund King and Martyr. The photograph was acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum and accessioned in 1935 (accession number PHO 5035).
