Reproduction from an unidentified publication, of a woodcut illustration depicting a parturition or birthing chair designed by Herbienieur in 1790, with caption in French underneath. Another photograph of this image was accessioned by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum on 14th October 1935 (PHO 5272). Related images: M0007452, M0007455, M0007451, M0007457.
