From left to right: a single-hooked 17th century pelican acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum at an unknown point and accessioned in 1919 (accessioned number R8696); a dental pelican with two claws acquired by the Musuem at an unknown point and given accession number A69369. It is now held by the Science Museum (object number A69369; a 16th century double-hooked pelican acquired by the Museum at an unknown point and accessioned in 1919 (accession number R8693); a pelican acquired by the Museum at an unknown point and give accession number A3200
