Description

Photograph of a brass truss for a hernia made in Gujarat, India. The pad is furnished with a spring, which can be adjusted to regulate the pressure. It was presented to the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum at an unknown point and accessioned in 1910 (accession number R389). It is not held by Wellcome Collection.
