Photograph of a letter dated 1 May 1900 from the University of Krakow announcing Lister's election as an Honorary Doctor of Medicine and expressing the hope that Lister will be present at Celebration of University. It is one of a number of photographs accumulated by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum as part of its exhibition held in 1927 to celebrate the centenary of Lister, in conjunction with The Royal Society, The British Universities Hospitals and Medical and Surgical Colleges.
